West is Best!

Dave grew up in the west end of Ottawa.  He attended St. Basils elementary school and spent most of his summer days biking around his neighbourhood - Carlingwood. In 1985 his family moved near Andrew Haydon Park. He attended St. Joe's Junior High, and Notre Dame High School.

Service Calls

Dave's maternal grandparents came from a part of the Netherlands that was liberated by Canadian soldiers in 1944.  He has always felt an obligation to understand the sacrifices Canadians made during the second world war. Dave served proudly in the Canadian Forces.  In 1994 he volunteered for duty in the Former Yugoslavia as a United Nations peacekeeper.  In 1995 he returned to Canada. "I will never forget how lucky we are in Canada and how good we really have it". 

University

Dave graduated from Carleton University where he majored in Law.  He has been a licensed pilot since 1998 with over 250 flying hours. No crashes but a few hard landings. When he is not selling real estate he can be found kiteboarding/kitesurfing on the Ottawa River.

Real Estate as a Career

Dave is a second generation Realtor. His father Camillo D'Angelo has been selling homes in Ottawa since 1969.  Dave started his career in Real Estate in 2004 by using a lesson he learned in the military.
